He was dearly loved by his family and me. We were the best of friends.

Valium overdose took away his life.

We didn’t know that he started using drugs because he never showed any signs of using drugs.

And later, he started using pain and anxiety medication. He started using Valium to get high. It was then when we really began to see a change in him.

And one day, he was found dead on his bed.

That was the black day of my life because he was very close to me.

When we were in the hospital, I asked the doctor about the reason of his death.

And I was shocked when he told me that the reason was Valium High.

I lost my best friend, my partner in crime. For me, it hasn’t been easier. I just learned to live with pain. Drugs destroyed his life.

What Is Valium?

Valium belongs to a class of drugs called benzodiazepines, pronounced as (ben-zoe-dye-AZE-eh-peens).

Its generic name is diazepam.

This is a medication that is prescribed by psychiatrists and doctors to alleviate pain and anxiety.

How Does It Work?

This medication works by calming the brain and nerves.

➔Valium is a depressant medication that fortifies the impacts of a neurotransmitter in the brain called gamma-aminobutyric corrosive (GABA). (2)

➔GABA attempts to slow down the activity of the brain.

➔Thus, increasing GABA neurotransmission results in reduced anxiety and less activity.

What are Valiums Good For?

  • It also provides sedation before medical procedures.
