What is Abscess Tooth and It’s Cause

A tooth abscess is a painful collection of infected pus caused by a bacterial infection that enters through either a dental cavity or a chip or crack in the tooth.

It leads to an opening in the tooth enamel, which gives bacteria a chance to infect the center of your tooth. Thereafter, the infection spreads to the root causing pain, swelling, and inflammation.
